At Manorside Academy we believe that after-school clubs can offer pupils a range of wider curricular opportunities, developing their cultural capital and offering them a chance to try new activities and skills. We do our utmost to offer as many clubs as possible at no cost to the parents and any clubs that do incur a cost, we ensure to ‘shop around’ to get the best, most competitive price to make it affordable for parents.

We monitor attendance at after school clubs to ensure that by the end of each academic year, every pupil has been offered a place at an after-school club.

Our after-school clubs can also then lead to school teams being created across a range of activities which then provides pupils with the opportunity to represent the school. In the last academic year pupils have been able to represent the school in a vast selection of activities including; football, tennis, handball, rounders, musical theatre, choir and much more.

Most of our clubs last for a school term and run from 15:15 – 16:15. A letter regarding club is sent out and parents are asked to sign up to these clubs via ParentPay.
